Lead an established med spa in one of Southwest Florida’s strongest growth markets: a loyal client base, a premium service environment, and real accountability for the numbers, the team, and the guest experience.
An established med spa and wellness practice in Fort Myers is searching for a hands-on Med Spa Manager to take ownership of daily operations. The fundamentals are in place: steady demand, an experienced service team, and an active client base. What the practice needs is a leader who runs a tight floor, energizes the team, and grows revenue and memberships through consistent execution.
If you love owning a location’s performance, know your KPIs cold, and still enjoy being out front with clients and staff, this role is built for you.
Who thrives here:
- An operator who owns a revenue number and treats KPIs as the scoreboard, not the paperwork
- A people leader who coaches front office and service teams to a standard and holds it
- A hands-on manager who stays client-facing and solves floor problems personally
What you will be measured on: revenue against plan, membership growth and retention, rebooking rate, average ticket, lead-to-appointment conversion, and provider utilization.
What you will do:
- Own the daily rhythm of the practice: staffing, scheduling, team huddles, and floor execution
- Lead, coach, and develop the team across front desk and service support to clear performance and service standards
- Track and improve the KPIs above, and report practice performance to regional leadership
- Model consultative, client-facing conversations and guide clients into the right services and membership options
- Ensure consistent follow-up on leads, inquiries, and consults through the practice’s CRM and booking systems
- Drive local marketing, community partnerships, and on-site promotions that build traffic and revenue
- Maintain standards for cleanliness, presentation, compliance, and daily readiness
- Manage inventory, vendors, and ordering within budget
- Address performance issues early with coaching, clear expectations, and decisive action when needed
Requirements
Before you apply: this is an on-site leadership role in Fort Myers with direct accountability for practice results. It requires prior location-level management experience; this is not a first-time-manager position.
Must-Have:
- 3+ years managing a location-level business in med spa, aesthetics, wellness, elective healthcare, fitness, hospitality, or membership-based retail
- Experience leading a team of 4 or more across front-of-house and service roles
- Track record of hitting and improving KPI-based goals: revenue, memberships, rebooking, utilization, or conversion
- Comfortable with client-facing consultative conversations about services and membership options
- Strong operational fundamentals: staffing plans, scheduling, daily execution standards, and service recovery
- Familiarity with scheduling systems, POS, and CRM tools (specific platforms are flexible)
- Available for Saturday appointment coverage as needed
- Able to work on-site in Fort Myers, FL
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
Nice-to-Have:
- Exposure to injectables, aesthetics, or medical wellness services
- Experience coordinating licensed providers (NP, PA, RN, or estheticians)
- Fluency in modern spa booking and POS platforms (Zenoti, Boulevard, Mindbody, or similar)
- Local marketing, referral programs, or community partnership experience with measurable results
- Online reputation management: growing review volume and rating
- Experience stepping into bigger roles as a result of performance
This role is not a fit if:
- You want to stay in the back office and avoid client-facing conversations
- You struggle to talk about numbers and KPIs, or rely only on gut feel
- You avoid coaching, accountability, or difficult conversations with underperformers
Benefits
- $60,000–$70,000 base: commensurate with experience
- Quarterly performance bonus tied to revenue against plan and membership growth (full structure shared during the interview process)
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Paid time off
- Employee discounts on services
- Stable, predictable clinic-hour schedule, including a later close one day midweek and Saturday appointment coverage as needed
- Professional, protocol-driven environment with clear standards and partnership with clinical leadership
- Growth and development opportunities in medical aesthetics and wellness operations as the organization expands
What success looks like (first 6 to 12 months):
- Revenue is on plan and growing, and the numbers show it
- Memberships are growing steadily and rebooking is materially higher than when you started
- Provider schedules are optimized and peak-hour utilization is strong
- Client experience is consistently excellent, with strong service recovery and an improving online reputation (goal: 4.5+ rating)
- The team knows their numbers, understands expectations, and executes without leadership in the room
